Excursion F: Dry Wash Ruins – Bears Ears National Monument

(Limited to 30 participants)

The Dry Wash Cave Ruins are located in the Abajo  Mountains area of the Manti-LaSal National Forest  about 14 miles north of Blanding, Utah. The ruins are  located in caves or alcoves at an elevation over 7,900  feet above sea level making them some of the highest  ruins in the area. At that altitude the location seems to  be a summer home but the cliffs are south facing so  who knows. (source: BLM)

Hiking Information: This is a 1.6 mile round trip forest  hike that climbs nearly 300 feet.
