Eclipse Festival
October 13 - 15, 2023
On October 14, 2023 Southeastern Utah will experience an annular eclipse and Canyon Country Discovery Center is in the path of annularity. To celebrate this rare event, Canyon Country Discovery Center is offering weekend packages, including viewing the eclipse from our campus. Additional activities will include a concert, Dark Sky Discovery events, meals and afternoon activities around Southeastern Utah.

Friday, Oct. 13
Registration; 1 - 5 pm
Cocktail Reception; 5 - 7 pm
Dinner; 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Concert; 7:00 - 8:00 pm
Dark Sky Discovery; 8:00 - 10:00 pm
Saturday, Oct. 14
Breakfast; 8:00 am - 9:00 am
Eclipse Viewing* / Annularity; 10:30 am (approximately)
Optional Excursions - TBA; 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm

*Canyon Country Discovery Center is not responsible for weather that prevents viewing the eclipse, or injury due to unsafe viewing practices, weather that prevents outdoor activities, or walking on uneven outdoor surfaces.
