Bring your youth group on an educational field trip to the Canyon Country Discovery Center (CCDC)! The CCDC education team is invested in supplementing learning goals in the classroom, as well as fostering curiosity of youth by inviting them to experience STEAM topics first-hand through hands-on demonstrations and place-based lessons. All of our programs align with national standards which include NGSS, ,STEM, and Common Core Standards. Interactive exhibits make it a fun way to learn about science, nature, and local culture at our center. The exhibit hall is open during regular business hours.


Engage your adventurous side on our indoor bouldering wall. Learn a new skill, practice your old ones, or support your family with this unique experience. The bouldering wall is included with general admission.


Take a stroll along our trails through 48 acres of juniper, pinon pine, and sagebrush woodlands. Talk to oour front desk about plant and animal guides for a more interactive experience. Snowsheing and cross-country skiing are encouraged!


The CCDC is home to the only telescope observatory in Southeast Utah! Join our astronomy gurus twice a month for short, themed educational talks (like Exploring Lunar Eclipses, History of Moon Travel, and Deep Sky Objects). Then take a tour of our night sky and use our telescopes for your own exploration. See our Events page for more information on dates and times.
