CORPS RIVER RESTORATION PARTNERSHIPS

CCYC and four other youth corps are involved in two river restoration partnerships: the Dolores River Restoration Partnership and the Escalante River Watershed Partnership

CCYC partners with the NPS in Southeast Utah & Mesa Verde National Park in Southwestern Colorado.

Forever Our Rivers Foundation


Forever Our Rivers Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, was incorporated in 2016 with the sole purpose of protecting and enhancing rivers.  Rivers are essential to every community and person in the world, providing vital water supplies, food security, and recreation opportunities. Forever Our Rivers supports the people and organizations on the front lines of river conservation and enhancement throughout the United States.

CCYC is a partner corps with the Public Lands Service Coalition (PLSC) The PLSC was founded in 2009 by The Corps Network, Conservation Legacy and the Student Conservation Association.  The Public Lands Service Coalition (PLSC) is an unincorporated coalition of more than 40 Conservation Corps and other organizations that promote youth and veteran engagement in stewardship of the Great Outdoors. The PLSC promotes and supports efforts to expand youth service on public and tribal lands and waters, with the goal that this service leads to careers in natural resource management and the development of the next generation of environmental stewards.


Coalition participants work toward four strategic objectives:


• Expand the federal investment in conservation service

• Strengthen PLSC member organizations, programs, and operation

• Modernize and expand the structural mechanisms that support Corps

• Raise the profile of Conservation Corps through partnership development and other Means
