BRIEFING PACKETS

A digital briefing packet will be sent to your given email address 30-60 days before the program starts.

Briefing packets include:

  • Full program details

  • Travel and logistics information

  • A detailed trip itinerary

  • A gear packing list

  • Pre-trip medical, liability release and publicity release forms

  • A Colorado Plateau overview of the region's natural and cultural history

  • Canyon Country Discovery Center information

WHAT WE PROVIDE

Canyon Country Discovery Center provides professional guiding staff, expert instruction, group equipment, supplies, permits, meals as stated in the itinerary (except alcoholic beverages and soft drinks), and lodging for specified trips.

EQUIPMENT RENTALS

We rent tents, sleeping bags and sleeping pads.  If you did not select to rent items during registration, be sure to contact us at  at least 10 days before your trip start date to secure needed equipment rentals.

 

CANCELLATION POLICY

Full payment is required at the time of booking. If you determine cancellation is necessary, upon receipt of written notice:

  • 45 days prior to program date, you will receive a full refund, less $100.

  • 30 days prior, you will receive a 70% refund, less $100.

  • 20 days prior, you will receive a 50% refund, less $100.

  • If you cancel less than 10 days prior to the start of your program for any reason, your entire fee will be retained.

If Four Corners School cancels a program due to weather or insufficient enrollment, a full refund will be made. Four Corners School encourages you to obtain travel insurance to cover your non-refundable air and land costs and to protect your payments. Failure to do so will result in a total loss of trip expenditures paid.

 

TRAVEL INSURANCE

We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance for the duration of your trip. A travel protection plan can help cover your non-refundable travel payments should you cancel a trip because of a covered illness or injury.
